Only members may borrow items from the SWPC Library.

ITEMS FOR LOAN

The SWPC Library contains a rather comprehensive inventory of engineering drawings and blueprints which may be borrowed or purchased. Contact the Library for a Drawing Index which is available via email in .pdf format, fax, or postal mail. Because the drawings are in electronic format on CD, copies may be requested at 2/3 scale to save on paper size and cost, which is charged by number of square feet (see "Rules" section, above).

Numerous books, manuals, AD lists, 337's, forms, and technical publications are also available, including a complete set of EAA "How-to" publications covering welding, engine and magneto maintenance, painting, metal working, fabric covering, the AeroCrafter's Handbook, etc.

The Library loans VHS format videos ranging from aviation safety (anatomy of stall spins, weather, piloting techniques and skills, etc.) to several original Piper promotional movies from the Short Wing era that have been copied to VHS tape.

Of course, the SWPC Library maintains an inventory of specialty tools members may borrow free of charge. See the complete list below.
