To all Short Wing Piper Members,
Our Web Master Homer Landreth has asked the SWPC Executive committee to
relieve him of his duties as soon as a replacement could be located. Homer
has been a great asset and volunteer to the club and I know a lot of members
will miss him. The executive committee wishes to thank Homer for past years
of service to the club and wishes him well in the future.
Per Franco, John Beck V.P. will be taking over the administration duties of
the list/digest and forum administration for the short term. We are in the
process of having to redesign the SWPC Home Page to continue on the
HIS server that currently serves our club. This redesign is long over due
and Gary Butler our Treasurer will be driving that project. The SWPC Home
page is currently down for this redesign Garry is putting together a list
of
all the wants and needs of the future such as paid advertising, posting of
the SWPNews, SWPEF Store etc. Now would be a good time to get with Gary and
give your
input on how our web site could better assist the membership.
The 2010 Convention link is still active at www.shortwing.org/2010convention (http://www.shortwing.org/2010convention)
It is our intention is to have some form of the home page back on line soon.
