VOLUNTEERS & DOOR PRIZES NEEDED
 Just like the parent SWP Club, every annual convention depends on the good will and helpful service of countless volunteers. Will you consider serving the Club as a 2010 Convention Volunteer? Below is a list of current opportunities. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Denise Anderson at tdanderson@cinci.rr.com or 513-398-2656.
Here are the needs . . .
Sunday, June 20th through Friday, June 25th, 2010
  • Airplane parking - Hook Field: Sunday & Monday
  • Registration Table - Drury Hotel: Sunday & Monday
  • Shuttle van drivers: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
  • Convention Photographer: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
  • Hospitality Room set up & stocking - Drury Hotel: Sun., Mon., Wed. & Thur.
  • Bake cookies to bring for hospitality room: Sunday & Monday
  • Bus Captains: Monday & Tuesday
  • Staff the Airport Hospitality tent - Hook Field: Mon., Wed., Thur. & Fri.
  • Help set up tables for Social & clean-up - Hook Field: Monday
  • 50%-50% Sales: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday
  • Help set up tables for Lunch & clean-up - Hook Field: Wednesday
  • Poker Run Supervisor: Thursday
  • Airport Clean-up: Friday

    REQUEST FOR UNIQUE DOOR PRIZES
    There is a general request from Jan Widman for those of us who have crafty and creative skills to make and donate something useful and unique to be awarded as a door prize during the convention. Do you make jams, jellies, some special baked item, or other culinary treat? How about knitters, crocheters, quilters, sewers, gift/greeting card makers, embroidery and other needle work? Perhaps your craft or skill is in woodworking, artistic metal working, stained glass, or pottery? If you make things of beauty, use or fun that you would like to donate to the 2010 Convention as a door prize please contact Jan Widman at: jamocadura@aol.com or 937-364-6050. Thank you!
